Q2. Please explain what made you play Dragon Nest!

I'll be quite frank; the first thing that pulled me to this game was the Cleric class. Back when I joined it was in 2011 (can you believe it? so long ago!) during Close Beta test, and I was fresh out of another MMORPG that I was trying to quit from. I was a 14-year old high schooler who was still new in secondary school and my friend introduced me to the game. Initially the reluctance was there, but I went home to search the game online and ended up falling in love with the Cleric's composed look and his deep voice.

If I were to write about my whole experience playing the game up until now, 11 years later, I think it would be one hell of a paragraph. But all in all, what peaked my interest was the cleric class. What made me stay were the numerous memories I have from the time I spent here-- with friends, foes, guildmates, and strangers alike. I don't think I will ever truly move on from the game, because the lore and the gameplay is just so immersive. I like it so much that I have 24 characters in the game, and I have stories and personalities for all those characters. Dragon Nest has been with me for a third of my life-- from a 14 year old high school freshie to a 24 year old junior financial analyst working in the oil and gas industry. I don't think I can even imagine what my life would be without Dragon Nest.

Even though I'm not as active anymore due to my work, I still think back of Dragon Nest, the NPCs and the characters with great fondness. No matter what people say, I still think it's a wonderful, wonderful place.

Q3. Do you have the best moments while playing Dragon Nest?

There is a lot, but I especially treasure the sweet, joyous moments of being in a close-knit guild that treated me like family. As a young teenager, that meant a lot-- to be able to connect with people who I have never even met face-to-face was major. I never thought I would be able to fall in love with personalities before and I found that here. I grew up with the game. So I think my best moments are just those dumb, silly moments with my friends in-game, like playing hide and seek in town, random roleplays, overcoming new raids/nests together for the first time, or even just entering dungeons to find beautiful places to have a photoshoot.

The game's best played with friends, really!
